Parent Information
Payment Policies
Registration Fee of $20.00 per child is due before your child/children can begin attending.
FEES:
• $40.00/$50.00 per week for first child
• $35.00/$40.00 per week for each additional child
• $25.00 per week for employees of the Monroe City School System & Ouachita Parish school systems

Scholarships based on income are available through funding from the United Way of Northeast Louisiana. Please contact the YMCA office for more information.
We must receive your payment on the Friday before the next week attending. Failure to pay will result in our contacting you to pick up your child. The child is not allowed to return until balance is paid in full.
We only accept check or money order for your security as well as ours. You may pay online by clicking here.
You may pay your fees to the Site Director or the YMCA office and receive a receipt upon request.
Basic Rules for Y-
1. Treat everyone with respect.
2. Speak for yourself!
3. No bullying, teasing, shunning, or ridiculing of any kind.
4. No hitting, kicking, biting, or negative physical contact (fighting) with others.
5. Share YMCA equipment and games with others.
6. Pick up after yourself and others.
7. Absolutely no inappropriate language or gestures.
8. Have a positive attitude and be willing to participate.
9. Always ask for permission to use the restroom or get water.

The YMCA of Northeast Louisiana trains its workers on dealing with children's moods and behavior. Our staff will do their best to provide a safe and caring environment for all of the campers.
Discipline guidelines:
1st offense: child is given a warning
2nd offense: child is given time out for no more than 10 minutes (depends on age and offense)
3rd offense: site director meets with parent and child
4th offense: program director meets with parent and child
5th offense: child is dismissed from the program
Parents will receive documentation on 3rd, 4th and 5th offenses.
The YMCA of Northeast Louisiana in no way supports corporal or physical punishment of any child. Time out is our only form of punishment and consists of the child sitting in an area away from the other children but in sight of workers at all times.
Reasons for immediate dismissal:
Biting
Fighting
Behavior leading to the endangerment of the other children

The YMCA does not practice any religious, ethnic or racial discrimination.
According to the Louisiana Family Code of State Law, the YMCA and its staff is obligated to report any signs of child abuse or neglect.

Pick up:
You must sign out your child. This is very important for the safety of the children. Failure to sign out your child may result in a $5.00 fee.
Please pick up your child by 6:00pm (or by 5:30pm at Crosely).
Picking up a child late will result in additional charges:
$15.00 for the first 10 minutes, and $1.00 for each additional minute
If a child is not picked up by the end of the program day, we will do our best to contact a parent or guardian using the information given on the registration form. If no parent or guardian can be reached, we may contact the Sheriff's Department and turn the child over to protective services.
Medicine and Emergency:
We do not give out over the counter medication however we will give prescribed medicine only after a medicine release for has been filled out by the parent/legal guardian. Please make sure all information on your registration form is correct and please let us know through out the school year if there are any changes that need to be made. This information is important in case of an emergency.
